The CHOP Shop
is at the
Cross-Walk. "CHOP" stands for Christians Helping
Other People. Many of the youth that attend the
Cross-Walk on Wednesdays are in need of everyday
items that we take for granted like,
food,clothing,a bed and more.
Thank
you to all that have given already to "The CHOP
Shop". A wonderful way to Celebrate the Difference
Jesus makes by helping those less fortunate.
Currently things we are in need of for the CHOP
Shop include: toiletpaper, laundry soap, shower
gel, shaving cream, razors, women's deodorant,
microwave meals, canned goods, pop tarts, frozen
pizzas, plastic spoons, plastic forks and all sizes
of zip-lock baggies. If you would rather donate
cash, we can buy other products for the CHOP Shop
from the Food Bank of Iowa for 14 cents a pound.
Please make your check payable to Celebrate and put
a note for CHOP Shop in the memo. We also have a
need for volunteers to help serve food at The
Cross-Walk on Wednesday evenings.
