MOPS stands for Mother's of Preschooler. MOPS is a program for mothers of children under school age, infant through Kindergarten. In this high stress period of a mother's life she often feels inadequate, frustrated, isolated, or lonely. MOPS meets these significant needs. We hope that each MOPS evening is a time of refreshment. And that after spending time talking, learning, eating, sharing, and crafting, with other Mothers of Preschoolers, you'll be ready to look to your future with renewed hope.

MOPS groups exist to meet the needs of every mom with children from birth through kindergarten, Women from all backgrounds and ages find support in MOPS as they try to be the very best moms they can be.

MOPS is about......

  • Celebrating Motherhood
  • Meeting needs
  • Making Connections

Experiencing God's Love
...through relationships and resources.

The MOPS Story
Eight Women. The number was small, but the need great. The first MOPS meeting took place in February 1973 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. For two hours these mothers talked, laughed, ate, passed a basket for childcare expenses, had a craft demonstration, and ended with a short devotional. In this humble beginning, the seeds of the MOPS concept and format were planted. Through friendship, creative outlets, and instruction, the women began to understand that "mothering matters." Today, the same needs for significance are met in much the same way in MOPS groups across the United State and around the world.

Enrollment in MOPS
We allow a mother two (2) complimentary visits to our meetings. After that we hope you love our group as much as we do and decide to join.

MOPS International requires us to enroll all of our MOPS moms in the MOPS to Mom Connection. Your $19.95 enrollment fee includes:

  • A 1 year subscription to MOM sense magazine. (6 full color issues).
  • A Veggie Tales DVD
  • A book for mom
  • Mom email (if you have email)

And most important - a local group of women who can relate to one-another.
MOPS to Mom connection is used by MOPS International to cover the administrative costs of MOPS international materials and starting new MOPS groups.

Our group suggests a donation of $5.00 per meeting to help cover the costs of crafts, materials, publicity, childcare (where applicable) and other general expenses. We offer several payment options for your convenience, including a discount if you pay a semester at a time. We feel it is a win-win for everyone, we can plan crafts and activities well in advance and you can enjoy the savings we receive when we plan ahead.

We also understand the family budget, attending MOPS should not be a burden to your family. We will NEVER turn a mother away because of financial hardship. Please choose to attend MOPS, we think you'll love i
